The Kung Fu Discussion Group – Episode 2: School Etiquette, Teaching Signatures, & Embodying the Philosophy of Your Martial Art
“Keep your cup at all times full…”
Episode 2 of the Kung Fu Discussion Group is now available to celebrate this Foolishness Friday. This episode sees the trio of Uncle Sickness, YogaMidnight, Maeko discussing School Etiquette, Teaching Signatures in the Forms & Practice Method, embodying the Philosophy of your Style, the Eight Essentials, & more. Once again, Xingyiquan is the primary example used for the topics, but there’s also mention of Baguazhang & Tanglangquan.
Hello, I'm your Uncle Sickness. My study of martial arts & Daoist philosophy began in college & has carried through the rest of my life. In that time, I've learned Ba Fan Shou, Tan Tui (10 & 12 Road versions), Taijiquan, Tanglangquan, Baguazhang, & my personal favorite, Xingyiquan. In addition, I've studied a number of popular Qigong styles & meditation techniques.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.|
