Anyone who’s been listening to the Uncle with the Golden Voice (i.e. Me) has probably heard me say something along the lines of “No Work, No Food” or “You can take a day off when you’re Dead”. These are amusing turns of phrase, & your favorite Uncle delivers them with aplomb.
More than that, they are also God’s-Honest-Truth when it comes to the pursuit of any form of self-cultivation, self-development, or character development. If you truly seek to be better than you are, then there can be absolutely no days off, barring serious illness or injury, of course.
