Shaolin Prince
Shaolin Prince is that rare film that combines all three major Kung fu movie plot types into a seamless whole. It opens with a healthy dose of “The ____’s ____’ed my ____!!! I must have revenge!” Two orphaned princes follow two versions of “The Secret Book!!!” Boyhood, learning martial arts & secrets around their origins. The finale is, in my opinion, one of the best examples of “Blah blah blah blah blah, IF you defeat me!” in any of the Shaw Brothers films. I won’t spoil it for you, but I love the absurdity of the villain’s defeat. Enjoy!!
