About Lessons Learned in the World of Martial Arts

Hello, & welcome to Lessons Learned in the World of Martial Arts! I’m your Uncle Sickness, here to help improve your terrible kung fu! I’ll be sharing theoretical material that I’ve translated, as well as my thoughts & opinions on a variety of subjects. The majority of the martial content will be related to Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, Taijiquan, Tanglangquan, & Bafanquan, as those are the styles with which I have the most familiarity. Strategy & Tactics will be emphasized in a general sense. The meditative & Qigong content will be related to Daoist Philosophy, with heavy emphasis on Zhuangzi, which will pop up from time to time.
