形意刀法以: 劈, 崩, 挑, 推, 橫, 抹, 掛, 切, 掃, 滾; 和纏頭裹腦、藏刀式等。

The Xingyi Saber Method uses: 劈/Pi, 崩/Beng, 挑/Tiao, 推/Gua, 橫/Heng, 抹/Mo, 掛/Gua, 切/Qie, 掃/Sao, & 滾/Gun; together with Coiling the Head, Wrapping the Brain, Concealing the Saber Forms, & so on.

劈/Pi – Chop

崩/Beng – Collapse

挑/Tiao – Raise

推/Tui – Push

橫/Heng – Cross

抹/Mo – Wipe

掛/Gua – Hang

切/Qie – Cut

掃/Sao – Sweep

滾/Gun – Rolling

纏頭式/Chan Tou Shi – Coil the Head Form

裹腦式/Guo Nao Shi – Wrap the Brain Form

藏刀式/Cang Dao Shi – Conceled Saber Form
