掌分九宮步下取,左右轉身變化精,
出手順逆隨身起,落步開合四梢行。

遠攻長拳近短打,五行步法顯奇能,
三十六招走為上,不招不架巧使空。

打法須從身上起,手足齊到方為功,
身似強弓手比箭,消息全憑后足蹬。
The Striking Method must follow the Body’s upward rising, when the hands & feet simultaneously arrive it is an achievement, the body resembles a strong bow & the hands contrast with arrows, the the transmission completely depends on the rear foot Treading.
起時無影落無形,去意好似卷地風,
手起万莫使空回,腳落不要枉落空。
When rising there is no shadow, when falling there is no shape, when going the intention is like wind rolling along the ground, when the hands rise there are absolutely none who can cause the to return empty, when the feet fall they must not fail to achieve something.
側閃兩邊防左右,高低相隨巧妙生,
往來橫豎依身變,腳打七分手三成。

硬打硬進快招勝,柔者轉化占上風,
拳出三節為能手,沒見形影万莫停。

轉身活動勢不定,左右橫順任意行,
退若狸貓進似虎,腳打踩意不落空。
Turning the body with lively motion the patterns is not fixed, Left or Right, Smooth or Horizontal, moving at will, Retreat like a leopard & Advance like a tiger, when the foot strike Stamps the Intent doesn’t fall into emptiness.
上步對面人不見,拳出掌去不見形,
手腳起落人莫覺,猶如幻影去無蹤。
People cannot see the Forward Step, or the shape of the extending fist & outgoing palm, people cannot feel the rising & falling of the hands & feet, like a phantom going but not leaving tracks.
二人比手無虛勢,前進後退一寸爭,
掌打須知出入步,去如流水進如風。

竄縱跳躍無非步,閃展騰挪手法精,
寸步過快剪步穩,七步打法要分明。

踏偏身探病在腿,前俯後仰亦是空,
手腳齊到莫顯形,若見形影不為能。
With incorrect footwork, the body’s illness is in the legs, bowing forward & leaning backward are void, the hands & feet should arrive simultaneously without displaying your shape, if your shape & shadow are seen then you lack ability.
蟄龍未起雷先動,風吹大樹百枝傾,
內要提防外要穩,虛實見景便生情。
A hibernating dragon is awakened by the thunder, the wind blows a great tree & overturns numerous branches, you must be vigilant Internally & stable Externally, the feeling is generated by seeing the circumstances of the real situation.
一手分為八手用,緊連不斷是真功,
千招不如一招妙,万招不如不落空。
A single hand subdivides into eight hands when applied, tightly linked without interruption is real skill, 1000 maneuvers are not as good as one subtle maneuver, 10000 maneuvers are not as good as avoiding falling into emptiness.
兩手變成多手用,用招多變方顯能,
誰人解開無極法,保證到處得成功。
