1. 強橫無義者不傳，強橫則為亂，無義則負恩，逄蒙之事可鑑也。
Do not pass it on to those who bully & the immoral, bullies behave chaotically, the immoral turn their backs on kindness, the Pang & Meng Incident is able to be an example.
2. 求教不誠者不傳。
Do not pass it in to those who are insincere in seeking instruction.
3. 不傳則已，傳則或多或少，俱用真實手法，勿執外道以欺人。
If you do not pass it on then stop, if you do pass it on more or less, then without exception use the real skills, do not plan outside the Dao to cheat people.
4. 須傳忠義之士，謙恭之人，匪僻之徒，決不可傳。
Before passing it on, wait for the loyalty & righteousness of a soldier, a humble & polite person, you definitely cannot pass it on to rustic bandits & their followers.
5. 背地勿毁譏他人，以显己能。
Do not slander & ridicule another person behind their back in order to later show off your ability.
6. 無故不可動手，好勝與交鋒，即迫逼不已，寧甘敗下風，謝以不能。
You cannot hit others without reason, with those who are aggressive & confrontational, that is endlessly trying to pressure & compel people, it is preferable to be willing to lose by conceding an argument, apologize because you are not permitted.
7. 遇游方教師，勿與比試，致人失利敗名，而立無容身。
If you encounter a wandering teacher do not compete with him, causing a person to suffer defeat damages their reputation, & have no place to make a home.
8. 勿自恃豪強，越理犯分，悖逆爭鬥，致于人怒而犯天譴。
Do not be a conceited tyrant, being unreasonable, offensive, divisive, contrary, & quarrelsome causes people anger & offense, & incurs Heaven’s Wrath.
9. 橫逆相加祗可理說排解，勿妄動手腳，即萬不得已，亦須打有輕重，宜安穴竅，免致傷人。
When you find yourself unexpectedly in opposition with someone then increasing respect may truly persuade them to reconcile, do not rashly move the hands & feet, that is “only fight when absolutely necessary,” also if you must fight there are degrees of seriousness, you should protect the Qi cavities, it is prohibited to cause somebody injury.
10. 遇孤懦無主之人，被人凌辱太甚，不妨代為出氣然亦須有分寸，斟酌行之，使人情順而理安。
If you encounter a solitary & weak person do not try to boss him around, as he may be excessively insulted by people, there is no harm in letting him vent his anger, likewise you must have appropriate behavior & consider his behavior, in order to cause human relations to be favorable & naturally calm.
